About Mindgrove

Headquartered at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, Mindgrove Technologies designs state-of-the-art scalable, and reliable System-on-Chips (SoCS) in India under the brand name Mindgrove Silicon. Detailed responsibilities

Strategic planning: Serve as a financial advisor to the management team for strategic planning purposes. Oversee all sides of accounting operations, including payables, receivables, payroll, and tax preparation. Develop appropriate tracking methods for revenue and expenses.

Financial Operations: Lead and own day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Implement financial processes and systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Provide regular financial reports to the management team, investors and all other stakeholders. Coordinate the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports.

Budgeting: Develop and manage the company's budget, working closely with top management to align financial goals with operational plans. Oversee development, oversight, and management of the organisation’s investment plan. Lead and manage the budgeting process. Gather financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and identify variances. Inform the variance to the top management to do control measures.

Cash flow management: Leading cash flow management, optimising working capital, liquidity, and capital allocation to support ongoing operations and future growth. Monitoring, analysing, and optimizing the

inflow and outflow of cash within a business. It involves ensuring that a company has sufficient funds available to meet its financial obligations, such as paying bills, salaries, and loan repayments.

Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the statutory auditors, bankers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate audit meetings, site visits, and information requests. Facilitate effective communication and timely response to queries raised by auditors.

Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Stay updated on regulatory changes that impact the audit process. Provide guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.

Fundraising and Investor Relations: Assist in fundraising activities, including preparing financial projections. Coordinate with investors, manage relationships, and provide financial updates. Participate in the due diligence processes.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with top management, to provide financial guidance and support. Build relationships with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions.

Required Skills

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Senior Manager /Manager of Finance in a similar Industry.
  • Expertise in FEMA,GST,Companies Act & Income Tax
  • Proven ability to build process and structure as opposed to just being able to manage and administer
  • Must be able to present complex financial information to diverse audiences in a simple manner
  • Knowledge and experience with the semiconductor manufacturing process and cost accounting is a bonus not required.
