About Mindgrove

Headquartered at the IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai, Mindgrove Technologies designs state-of-the-art scalable, and reliable System-on-Chips (SoCS) in India under the brand name Mindgrove Silicon. These SoCs are built to be power-efficient and cost-effective for use in IoT, vision, automobiles, and more. Mindgrove was founded by Shashwath T R and Sharan Srinivas J and is backed by Sequoia Capital India, Speciale Invest and Whiteboard Capital. It is incubated by The IIT Madras Incubation Cell and IITM Pravartak Technologies Foundation. In addition, all employees of Mindgrove would be eligible to register for an MS program at IIT Madras under the part-time category. GATE is not required.

Detailed responsibilities

Create and implement bare metal drivers for peripherals present in the SOC
Closely collaborate with designers & verification engineers to identify and fix issues in design.
Sample C/C++ application to run in FPGA

Required Skills

Proven working experience in software/hardware engineering.
Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets.
Solid programming experience in Embedded C or C++.
Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems.
Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems.
Adequate knowledge of reading schematics and data sheets for components.
Strong documentation and writing skills.
Knowledge of Bluespec System Verilog/ Verilog is a plus but is not a mandatory requirement.
FPGA knowledge is added advantage.
